When the specific gravity of the battery electrolyte is 1.28 at the standard temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, when the battery single cell voltage is reduced to 1.5 volts or the specific gravity of the electrolyte is reduced to 1.17, it indicates that the battery is discharged and must be charged in time. The liquid level of the battery electrolyte must be 10 to 15 mm higher than the plate, and the distilled water must be added in time if the liquid level is too low, and other liquids must not be added. The battery in use should generally be charged once a quarter outside the car, the charging current is the battery capacity divided by 10, and the charging time is about ten hours. The battery that is not used for a long time should be placed in a cool and dry place with sufficient electricity and charged every month or so.
Matters need attention
1. The battery will produce flammable gas, which may cause an explosion. Smoking near the battery is strictly prohibited, and any flame or spark is strictly prohibited. When the battery is stored or charged, it must be in a well-ventilated place, but not at the outlet to avoid corrosion caused by acid fog.

3, when checking or maintaining the battery, please use rubber gloves to avoid electric shocks.

5, when cleaning the battery, be sure to use wet cloth, do not use dry cloth.

6, do not use tools between the positive and negative terminals of the battery.

7, charging electrolyte temperature should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius, so as to avoid electrolyte overflow caused damage, especially pay attention to summer daytime.

8, before unplugging the battery plug, in order to avoid sparks, be sure to turn off the forklift key switch and the switch of the charger.
